Now I know some of you might wonder: what about Birkenstocks? Although I have to admit, there is a certain kind of man around who can remove the shorts with Birkenstocks look while a pint of beer at Earl's and somehow acceptable – Matthew McConaughey – who probably are not the man or do not ask. (Unfortunately, there are so few that Matt is handsomely paid major.) Therefore, out of your yard, i use Ixnay shorts with Birkenstocks.
