Producer Megan Ellison and Annapurna Pictures entered into a bidding war with Lionsgate for the rights of the franchise. As you know, before Ellison has his own production company to support small movies with known directors like Paul Thomas Anderson untitled drama and religious and Kathryn Bigelow film hunting Osama Bin Laden. Lionsgate seems to have won the rights to an offer yesterday, but the report concludes that Ellison had a higher amount, even if you do not have a dispenser closed (but probably not very difficult to find a studio willing to distribute a movie.)

Andrew Garfield, who played co-founder of Facebook, Eduardo Saverin, was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, but lost to Christian Bale for his role in The Wrestler. . Nine Inch Nails, Trent Reznor, the leader, who scored the film, won best soundtrack and the film won Best Picture, Drama. Jesse Eisenberg, the actor who played the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, the social network, has been nominated as Best Actor, Drama Award, but lost to Colin Firth for his performance in the film, the King's speech. The film was nominated for six awards and won four. David Fincher (whose work also includes seven and Fight Club) won best director. The Golden Globes were last night, and the network (the film about the founder of Facebook), has done very well, as expected. Aaron Sorkin (A Few Good Men and The West Wing fame) won best screenplay.

After winning the best actress for "The night's blind side Sunday, Bullock was on the ground, thanks in part to the Golden Raspberry Award for worst actress for her performance in" All About Steve, who won a night earlier.
